Hard to believe: in 2026, the Huggy Bears supporting program celebrates its 10th anniversary. Over the past ten years, more than 40 emerging solo artists and collectives have been supported from their first project ideas through to their first major premiere on a Viennese stage. Many of them continue to shape the city’s independent dance and performance scene to this day. A good reason to celebrate!
Huggy Bears invites you to a special anniversary evening: several former Huggy Bears return to share short contributions of 5–10 minutes each. Conceived as an open mic format, the program promises surprises, reunions, and a great variety of artistic contributions.
